Bulgarian folklore dance clubs

Bulgaria is 110,993.6 km2 but there are a lot of folklore dances, with different rythm and national costumes.

Bulgaria is divided into 6 or 7 folklore regions

  • “Shopluka” – The Sofia region
  • North folklore district
  • Dobrudja
  • Thracian folklore district
  • Pirin Mountains
  • The Rhodopi Mountains

Bulgarian folklore dances are very beautiful and attractive.

They are not easy because of the rythm and the big number of steps and movings.

To get out from beginners, you need to practice bulgarian folklore dances at least two years two times per week.

There are a lot of groups and clubs where you can practice bulgarian folklore dances. It is really funny and you forget all the problems from the the working day. The clubs organise great parties and take part of unforgettable folklore events. There are groups for beginners in September and January.
